Lincoln is a beautiful, historic, cathedral city. With your help we can give the city a real boost by bringing colour, foliage and texture to the streets, enhancing the local landscape, our environment and making Lincoln a really attractive place to live, work and visit.

We need businesses to support Lincoln in Bloom and make a real statement of civic pride. Whether you have a hanging basket, sponsor one of the barrier mounted displays or choose any of the other options, Lincoln in Bloom will fully install your display and tend to it throughout the season, keeping it at its best. All you’ve got to do is admire it!

How do I get involved?

Hanging Baskets

Traditional - Classic summer planting mix. Price: £100+VAT

Eco Friendly - Such a rampant success last year! By using drought tolerant but colourful we have been able to reduce the 2007 price. Price: £85+VAT

Sign up a new Bloom participant and you will both be able to knock £10 off the basket price. Ordering more than 1 basket? - your 2nd 3rd 4th etc baskets will each be discounted by £10.

New to the scheme? No bracket? Lincoln BIG will arrange for a new bracket to be installed. We can even sort out listed building planning applications if necessary.

Floral Cascades

Make your business name stand out in the High Street! These three tiers of summer colour can be placed in most busy pedestrian areas.

Full colour sponsorship plaques on each face of the base tier really do get noticed. Choice of either traditional or eco friendly plant mix. Price: £265 +VAT

Barrier Basket Displays

Building on the success of 2007, we are looking for even more businesses to get involved.

Broadgate - We are pleased to be able to bring displays back Broadgate and provide a warm welcome for motorists entering the city. We package these displays in groups of 5 one-metre stretches. The cost is the same as 2007, includes two sponsorship signs; one on either side, visible by north and southbound traffic. Price: £830.00 per group + VAT

Wigford Way - A stunning display in 2007 and one not to be missed in 2008. The same principle as for Broadgate, but in smaller groups. Packaged in 3 one-metre stretches with one double-sided sign per group. Price: £480 per group +VAT

Special Display

A new location for sponsorship - the popular but unloved pedestrian subway between the main High Street area and lower High Street, under Wigford Way. Baskets, five-a-side, will be attached from the railings above the subway entrance creating a wonderful trailing feature to brighten up this area. A sign above each entrance means everyone will see that it’s your generous sponsorship that makes this display possible. Price: £460 +VAT per side
